The rules state that ‘all members are expected to help with the maintenance of communal areas‘. To enhance sociability regular communal maintenance days are allocated, usually the first Saturday in the month. The dates selected are shown below. The committee appreciates that some people may find Saturdays inconvenient so the committee will try to ensure that an up to date list of tasks is displayed at each site so that members can contribute to site maintenance outside these dates :
- April 5, May 3, June 7, July 5, August 2, September 6
The communal maintenance sessions are approximately 10.00am to 12.00am. Chat with your fellow plot holders over coffee and biscuits at the end.
Plot inspections are carried out 4 times a year during the growing season. The main purpose of the inspection is to identify members who may be having problems cultivating their site and offer them support and advice. The dates proposed are shown below:
- April 27, June 15, August 17, October 19
